My mission is to help you explore the world of crochet whether you're new or a seasoned "hooker". There are always new techniques and ideas coming out everyday. It's such an exciting hobby! I want to help you learn everything from an amazing new stitch, to how to read a yarn label. I'll provide yarn, hook and pattern reviews to help you on your way to crochet. Come back for Freebie Fridays, where I round up some great free patterns for you.
I actually started to crochet because I bought my daughter a rainbow loom and found that I enjoyed making bracelets more than she did. However, I was very limited in what I could make. Since the loom had a hook and crochet has a hook they'd be similar right?
I started by making slippers... without a pattern. I have since changed the way I crochet to include patterns and I make everything from infinity scarves to mittens to dishcloths. What started as a past time has evolved to me making and selling my projects and even into taking special orders. Not only that, I'm branching out and starting to teach others how to crochet and creating my own patterns too!
I live in Prince Edward County and primarily focus my business in that region. You'll see me make reference to Needle in Haystack which is the local yarn store that I go to for a lot of my yarn. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me. I love to talk yarn, hooks and patterns.
